It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Sharon Te Weri-Plumridge, a much-loved mum, nan, sister, aunty and friend who passed away at Whanganui Hospital on 12 April 2026, aged 69 years.
Whangai daughter of Kui Te Weri (nee Poutini) and Terry Te Weri.
Sister to Maria Ley, the late Peter Te Weri, Terrence Te Weri, Delena Ratana and Des Te Weri.
Daughter of Moringa Te Weri and Driver Plumridge.
Sister to James Rukuwai, Florence (Jackie), Peter, Charmaine, Puhi, and Moringa.
Sister to Daniel, Peter, Derek Topia and Verbina Maaka.
Mother and mother in law to the late Lorna-Anne Thompson, T.A. Ranginui and Tiare Awa, Avismary and Henry Bennett, Jamelle Davey and Joey Raukawa.

Sharon will be going to 8 Mahoney St in Whanganui from Monday afternoon and her service will be held at 11am, Thursday 16th April 2026 at Dempsey and Forrest.
